It is a personal choice as to whether other pets should be there during euthanasia. Some pet owners find comfort in having their other pets present to understand and say goodbye to their companion. However, others may find it too distressing or disruptive. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to contact us and consult so you can make an informed choice, based on your own circumstances. If you decide to, our Veterinarian will always allow the time for other pets to say their last goodbye to their mates.
Our follow up counselling call is a wellbeing check. If you consent during your booking, one of our qualified and experienced counselors will make sure things are going ok after the procedure. If required, they will give you support and guidance to get through this difficult time.
